Our Mission
The MetaTr@versal Initiative acts as a convener of the stakeholders of the Metaverse holding events designed to foster cooperation and advocate for standards and interoperability.
ABOUT US:
MetaTr@versal began in 2021 with a series of Zoom calls among industry leaders to express support for portal interoperability across social XR platforms. This was followed up with a special 2-hour panel event, followed by a three-act play performed on the Main Stage at AWE in June of 2022. MetaTr@versal holds portal crawls between platforms to demonstrate the need for interoperability.
